Stumbling
I was Stumbling at work - I admit it. Notice how I waited until I got home to share? Responsible Nicki strikes again! :)
The Manipulator -cool photos of celebrities, et al. I haven’t quite sorted out why Jill Greenbert is called “The Manipulator”, but I’m working on it as I type.
Missouri Skies -Gorgeous photos of one of my favorite states. Maybe it’s only one of my favorites because I lived there. At any rate, these are gorgeous photos that thrill my love for clouds.
(The sunshiney ones with puffy clouds are my favorites.)
The Adaption to My Generation -Eight years of pic a day taking? Wow. Dedication much?

After almost five days of errors when trying to get to my WP admin, I’m back online. It feels good!
I’ve been very lazy lately - finding online games to fill my time instead of jobs. One job in particular, however, is currently teaching me what I consider a few very valuable lessons.
- If I can’t do the job by myself, and I can’t take the time to learn what I need to be able to do it myself, don’t take on a partner. I get stressed out enough just trying to keep myself on schedule. It’s much worse when I’m waiting on someone else, no matter how reasonable the delay is.
- Overbudget when proposing time frames. I read somewhere that you should tack on like 20% after you have the project length, then tack on another 20% when nobody’s looking. I should have done that - then I wouldn’t be feeling as guilty.
- I’m not so sure web design for businesses is really what I want to be doing right now. I much prefer designing for myself, and designing templates. I’m especially fascinated with things like Theme Forest, and I think I’m ready to get my Wordpress and proper web coding chops up to snuff.
At any rate, life will be very busy for the next couple of days - I’ve got a memory training workshop through Personal Freedom for the next two days, and a party tomorrow evening.

We all need some support some days. My friend Chrissy could use a lot of it right now. I know I don’t have a lot of readers - an aimless, E/N blog like this probably never will, and that’s really quite okay. But if you do have a chance, and a positive comment to drop, she’s an interesting woman with interesting views.
Remember, you may not always agree, but you should always respect.

Because I was able to see that someone from Turkey visited my site today. That is cool.
Filed under Internet | Comment (0)Coding Question
Since there is a significant lack of decent content here lately, I thought I’d pose a question.
Any idea how this FSBO site gets those nifty in-page pop-up windows? I want them. I want them bad.
And I’m not even totally incompetant when it comes to coding. I took a peek at the source for the page, but wasn’t able to discover what site the website author may have gotten the code snippet for that neat effect. I’m pretty sure it’s probably something I can get free online, but I’m not even sure where to start looking.
So any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
