Why I love Google Analytics
Because I was able to see that someone from Turkey visited my site today. That is cool.

But I do subscribe to the Fail Blog for little gems like this. It took me a bit to figure out what happened to that car…bet it took him a little bit yet.
This is (one of) my guilty online pleasure(s). That, and I Can Has Cheezeburger. Juvinile? Yes. Hilarious? Abso-freakin-lutely.
For my intellectual funnies, I visit The Daily WTF, which rates only slightly above Computer Stupidities.
The most hilarous site ever if you have ever had the priviledge of spending any amount of time in a IRC or ICQ chat room is by far Bash.org (which actually seems to be down right now, which is absolutely horrible). I don’t bookmark this site, because it is far more hilarious to visit it once every three months or so, then read through the top 200 quotes. I need adult diapers every time I read this stuff, I laugh so hard!

What a crazy world we live in these days, eh? In Georgia, having a Home Manager is growing in popularity. From what I understand, if you have a vacant home you’re trying to sell, you “hire” someone to live in your home, at a reduced rent, and to keep it “show ready”.
That means keeping the lawn trim and the landscaping clean. That means you keep the rooms furnished and tidy at all times, and the house impeccable. It’s really like a job in itself.
But a woman in Atlanta had a woman running an escort service (not illegal in Georgia, apparently) from her home that she was trying to sell!
Of course, the tenant/Home Manager denied the allegations, but my goodness, that was one persistent news station. They eventually caught her red-handed - watch the video to find out how.
It’s amazing what people think they can get away with. If nobody knows, it must be okay, right? If a tree falls in the woods and nobody’s around, they can’t prove you poached it, right?

I’ve had a couple days of technical problems, but now I’m back on track.
(”Technical problems” consisted of a day of not being interested in writing anything of value or interest to me, and a day of getting bumped out every time I tried to submit a new post.)
So I’ve been working to polish my skills on Squidoo. It seems really cool, and while I will admit - I am partially driven by the desire to earn money, I also think it’s really cool that you get to donate a portion (or all) of your earnings to a charity. I’ll lay it out right now, 75% of my earnings go to the Squidoo Charity Fund.
Okay, I’ll admit, my lenses may not be the best around. But I’m definately going to keep working on them. My goal? To be a Giant Squid by my birthday. Wish me luck, and if you like, visit my lenses and rate me, baby! (And be honest, because I won’t improve if I only get 5 stars because you like me.)
